Willowbank Crafts Fine Art Gallery
This is the Willowbank Crafts Fine Art gallery that I have created, each piece serving as a testament to my passion for artistic expression. Within this collection, you will find a diverse array of works, showcasing my proficiency in various mediums, including oil, watercolour, acrylic, and at times I add beads to add to the texture. My journey as an artist is an exploration of color, form, and emotion, and I’ve striven to convey my unique perspective through each piece. The choice of medium often depends on the subject and the mood I wish to convey.
- In my oil paintings, you’ll discover rich and vibrant canvases that capture the beauty of landscapes, portraits, and still life. The depth and texture achieved with oil paints add a timeless quality to my creations. They are always painted on canvas and thinner canvases (less than 3”) are usually framed.
- Watercolours, on the other hand, bring out the delicacy and transparency in my work. They allow me to play with the interplay of light and shadows, often resulting in ethereal and expressive pieces. They are done on cold press paper and usually are framed under glass.
- My acrylic paintings are characterised by bold, vivid colours and a contemporary flair. They often exhibit a sense of spontaneity and energy, showcasing the versatility of this medium. Sometimes, I blend these techniques to create captivating mixed-media pieces that combine the best of all worlds, fusing the richness of oils, the transparency of watercolours, and the vibrancy of acrylics. They are always painted on canvas and thinner canvases (less than 3”) are usually framed.
Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in any of the pieces for sale.

Overall Simplicity
I purchased a painting from Bev. It was at an art show In East Gwillimbury for the Mt Albert Group of Artists. When I first spotted the piece it spoke to me. There was no question that I was immediately drawn to it. The overall simplicity (yet detailed), the beautiful gentle mixture of colours and the overall proportions to me are all spectacular. I love this piece of art and it is placed in my home where I can see it and enjoy it daily. Thank you Bev it gives me such pleasure to have it.
